Reasons To Wear A Traditional Chinese Wedding Dress
Cara contacted us 10 months before her wedding. She stated the importance of this cultural outfit: Qun Kwa with the highest quality of hand embroidery to represent her Asian heritage and cultural craftsmanship. She chose a traditional Qun Kwa for her Chinese tea ceremony. She said she wanted to honor her mother, who is a single mother and raised her with hard working. She was a librarian and Cara spent most of her childhood in the library and read tons of books. She is now a surgeon in Arizona.
Cara flew in with her mother who lives in Palo Alto to our Los Angeles boutique and tried on several Qipaos and Qun Kwa. We selected the traditional Chinese wedding dress to represent our heritage. She stated she hoped this piece can be a heirloom piece that she will cherish for her life.
She also wants to show the Indian families that our culture have good quality of cultural outfits.

Cara chose the traditional Tea Ceremony with a lion dance to celebrate the culture. Double happiness symbols are presented at her wedding, she had 5 outfit changes for her 3-day wedding.
